"JISM 2" - A no brainer success ;)

Hola People,
Greetings and a very good evening to you all. Now - I am sure all of you must be wondering as to why the delay to my write ups, especially about this one :) - hahahahah, I have been in and out of the blogosphere mainly due to work stress. If I can pacify you guys then let me just re - jerk your memory, then let me tell you all that the original "JISM" released in 2003 - which is almost a decade ago, thus I thought I too sum up the delayed release with a delayed review.

"Jism 2" - carries forward the same "Love, Hate & Betrayal" saga with a slight twist / or perhaps a bit of difference in the new age form of life. The Bhatt's always seem to place their movies strategically. Vishesh films always maintain a tight budgeting for most of their movies, they know exactly how to make a film that sells, thus they always make sure that the ingredients of music, background score, good cinematography, very good screenplay - accessorized with colorful sets and off-course sexual content that is always the added spice / masala and good finally actors who do engage audiences with their performances as this is essential to cover up for the normally weak flimsy scripts. Having said this, personally speaking "JISM 2" is all about Randeep Hooda's performance - as he is the central point of focus in the film. Sunny Leone has been the focus probably because of the legacy that she carries with her and the tag of the first crossover porn-star of Indo Canadian origin to come to India and do a commercial film. The tabloids and marketing bazaar have crowned her with the tag of a "STAR" in the country giving her a huge fan following, unlike other gals this chic can actually act and its quite unusual to see or expect a performance from her as she comes from a different film industry. The role and character is something Sunny Leone slips into with tremendous ease and it is easy for her to play the role of a seductress with omph and tremendous oozing sex appeal as the role was specially written with her in mind. However, I will stick to my earlier comment that Randeep Hooda just never stops to impress whether its a cameo or a full length role and believe me guys it is he who is the whole centre point of the script. 5 thumbs up for Randeep and his performance, as he actually makes the movie watchable. Arunoday Singh is a big waste ever ;). Vishesh Films does a remarkable job of keeping their filming budgets low and always maintaining a fantastic narrative which always covers up for the weak scripts. Watch this on DVD guys because you ain't gonna see Sunny Shine in the cinemas - if you know what I mean :) - I loved the soundtrack as some of the songs are just amazing and the the songs sung by both Ali Azmat and KK respectively are just chart-busters which are heart rendering.

Cheers :)
Soveik !!!
