Ladies Vs. Ricky Bahl - High on fashion and style !!!

Greetings and a very warm merry christmas to you all once again. Wow !!! this year ; 2011 has finally come to an end, and believe me ladies and gentlemen that life has been anything but simple. In very filmy style - " jab tak end tak sab kuch thek nahin ho jaye, tab tak samejh lena ki picture abhi baaki hai" - hahaha. Well - that's that, ;) The more important topic is "Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl".

I saw this movie a couple weeks back and once again my expectations for this movie was through the roof. I guess these days I am just too bored because I end up expecting like crazy from the upcoming releases. Or maybe both Anushka and Ranveer have left a startling impression on me from their initial film together and thus the excitement factor has been intact. I think Anushka  Sharma is a talent that the industry has got after centuries, and I just hope that she continues to perform the way she does. Ranveer Singh has talent but he seems to be more swayed away with the glamour quotient of "movies, masti & magic". The guy has to keep his calm and concentrate on his acting ability. He has done a suave job but I personally feel that had he put in some more effort his role would have stood out. Dipanita Sharma has done a decent job, although her character delineation seemed quite cliched, Aditi Sharma was good and has shown that she is a performer. At the same time the true star of this movie has been Parineeti Chopra, she definitely has the skill and the talent. This youngster will go a long way. The script and story of this movie is a cliches and there is nothing new apart from the flavour of new faces to the movie, and probably some unconventional twists., I liked the soundtrack of the film but have to admit that I wasn't really moved much by the movie.

On the business front I am sure that the producers will break even as the star cast is a crowd puller but then again depends really how successful the film turns out. Honestly I have been bored watching this movie. Watch this one only on dvd's - ahahahahaha.
