"Silence" or "Quiet" - is it actually just a passing phase of everday life or a "Reflection" process.

I woke up quite early to a wierd "Silence", normally the passing of the tube beside my window is very hard to miss, but then again today the overal feeling of people still asleep amidst the sunrise seemed definately different than the ordinary.

Getting the morning dose of news made me want to think very deeply about this particular phase of my life and career and just at this point I let my mind wander off. To my bewilderment I realized that in such deep thinking the faintest sounds may just well seem like noise ; such as the clicking of a wall clock seems to be more loud than anything else. Woooow !! Seems interesting but the sole question that comes to my mind is whether there is "true silence" as the mind is constantly aroused by the faintest cue.

Then again why do we say "Silence" - aren't we all constantly surrounded by inner thoughts, or some people might say "inner monologues".Thus, could it be that in silence many people say or think of things that they would like to happen or think of situations which they hoped never happened.

Just a thought - hehehehe -

Soouviek :)
