No Problem - I wish this isn't the mantra !!!
Hey Guys -
Happy Boxing Day and apologies for the back log in writing. I have been just lazy and lazing around. Anyways; no problem, as I am back with a review of the movie; “No Problem”. I so wish I could have said this mantra to every one – but unfortunately that isn’t happening and neither does the movie work. In fact, trailer dekhe ke mujhe samajh agaya tha ki picture pit ne walla hai.

The movie has an amazing star cast right from Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Paresh Rawal, Sushmita Sen, Kangna Ranaut, Shakti Kapoor and the supporting starcast who keep the comic scenes dragging. All these actors are seasoned in front of the camera and they can pull off the lamest of the scripts with horrible plots. Its saddening to see that these stars are being stereotyped in these roles and as such too much repetition has gradually lessened the charm of watching a Paresh Rawal, Anil kapoor or Sanjay Dutt perform to the epitome of their calibre. Akshaye Khanna and Sushmita Sen are actors who have not got their dues as stars and that too not that many good roles either. Thus, the movie has no head or tail and it’s just a bunch of buffoonery which most of these middle aged actors are doing because they don’t have any concrete script or any other good film to do. Gone are the days when producers and directors could pull of a movie with awesome locations, brilliant costumes and an average soundtrack. Today you need a good script with a heart and spirit. It surprises me that Anil Kapoor has actually Okayed this movie, Anees Bazmee is a brilliant comedy filmmaker but I am surprised that he too went ahead with this project. Both “Welcome” and “Singh is Kingg” were a laugh riot and the script did not require the actors to overact.
Don’t bother watching this movie as it’s a no brainer and actually meant to be watched in utter and sheer boredom.
Cheers,
Souvik.
