RACE 2 - Excellent.
Hey Guys,
I am back and promise I am not gonna go away from the bloggosphere anymore. I know that there have been many releases after "RACE 2", "Special 26", "ABCD", "Murder 3", "Jayantabhai ki luv story". Unfortunately, due to busy schedule's my last trip to the cinema I was only able to watch "Special 26". I made a promise to myself that I am not giving in to the "fucked up - ness" of work life and middle class mentality, but I am actually bogged down with the grimes of daily life which is quite pissing off, as I am not at all used to this "not" visiting the movies syndrome, I guess I will have to deal with this myself and resolve it.
"RACE 2" - is probably the biggest anticipated and emancipated *(if I may use the word in this context)* release for 2013, in fact I think the film has been in the news ever since the film was being made. I am not sure whether this was a publicity gimmick or just a marketing campaign, but the movie has been the talk of the town as and when it was due to release on 26th January 2013. A joint venture production between Eros Entertainment and Illuminati Films, the movie is all style and glamour with very little substance. Stylized filming in the exotic of locations compiled with a "picture perfect" star cast makes this movie very watchable for the mass movie going audience's who just want to spend a good time at the theaters. The film being a "Illuminati" production, again delves with the concept of medieval times :) I personally love heist films, because films like these always gives me this ubber and "cool' feeling - hehehe. To have John Abraham, Saif Ali Khan, Ameesha Patel, Deepika Padukone, Jacquiline Fernandez all in one frame is really too good to be true. I hated the "comic" angle of Aditya Pancholi and Anil Kapoor in the film as both of these actors are too senior to be doing these types of buffonary antics :). The movie in a nutshell doesn't offer anything for the critical audiences, the movie has everything needed for the aam jaanta to go out there and let their head's loose. The music album is brilliant and the songs have been shot well. This is one masala flick I really liked people :)
Decent flick for the weekend init guys :)
Cheers,
Souvik.
