“Paa” – A kid in every person.

I am sure the world has now viewed a succession of meaningful films in the past months. I am quite touched by PAA because it does have a chord that strikes with the average movie going public. The opening credit of the movie is something that was definitely innovative and quite classy. I felt like it was a play with an introduction by the MC of the evening. I honestly can’t find words to criticise this film and neither were there any over the top cinematic liberties that were taken throughout the film. The star power in the film was at the best which definitely gave the film the boost that it required. Had this movie been directed by R BALKI without any mainstream stars, the movie would have still been a super hit because the script is flawless and director Balki has a very unique vision whenever he chooses to direct his films, I liked Cheeni Kum and I also like PAA. Apart from the script what worked for PAA was the ensemble star cast who performed to their best. Vidya Balan has always been my quintessential Indian woman who signifies motherhood and alleviates dignity of modern day women to a different level. Amitabh Bachchan has always been an outstanding actor and to come to think that he would change his entire body language along with the makeup was just unbelievable. Abhishek’s delineation of Amol Arte definitely gives me the feel that Mr Rahul Gandhi was an image that was kept in mind when Balki was sketching the character of Amol Arte. On the music front I personally did not like all the songs, although the songs were quite limited and the movie remained heavier on the instrumental background score. The background score of the film is very western and perfect and the background score plays an important part in the movie. At the end of the day you dont called Illyaraja a music maestro just like that !!! Paa has some brilliant dialogues which have been incorporated in the script keeping a close tab on today’s generation’s school going children. The dialogues are hilarious because they have been written with an intention to pitch out at the real audience to relate to the film.

Overall “PAA” is a winner and multiple award winner from the day the movie was being filmed. I personally think that every household has to watch PAA because of the brilliant storytelling and outstanding work of art.

It’s a HIT PEOPLE ao definately watch it if you already haven't.
HAPPY NEW YEAR AS I LOOK FORWARD TO WRITING MORE IN THE NEW YEAR.

Cheers :)
