"Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola" - Unlike Vishal Bhardwaj !

Hey People,

GOOOOOD evening people - 2013 has had an interesting line up of movies. Starting with "Table 21" and "Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola". Unfortunately I haven't been able to see "Table 21" which I have heard is excellent. Vishal Bhardwaj is a man who does not need any introduction and thus his movies are always awaited with anticipation."Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola"  is a mad ass film, it is a typical political satire which mocks at the present day political system in our country. The movie doesn't really have anything great to boast about except "Pankaj Kapur", "Anushka Sharma" and "Imran Khan".  The script and story for this movie is very vague and chalk full of over used cliches, and to top it off it has some mad comic situations - its hilarious but then again there remains this sense of weirdness.  What makes the movie a good watch is solely Mr Pankaj Kapur. The man is a stellar performer and he has proved his mantle with grace and brilliance. The role of a drunkard rich businessman was brilliantly delineated by him, I think this is his best performance till date in the millennium. As far as a movie, this one is a dud guys, I mean I had hopes from a VB flick, this movie just doesn't hit the spot. I have seen and I know that VB is capable of doing some amazing cinema.  Vishal Bhardwaj had an excellent idea, and perhaps when he thought of making this movie he would have had a brilliant narration for his artistes but I am not sure as to how he messed up the final cut :( - watch this one guys only for the trio ; Mr Kapur, Mr Khan and Ms Sharma.
