"DUBAI-OLOGY / DUBAI-ITIS" - ;)

Hey Guys,

Greetings, and hello. Many apologies for the disappearing act, but as you guys are aware that I have been quite immersed in my "so - called" work space here in DUBAI. I think I have found a name for this kind of a frequent disappearing act...hmmm...I think I can call it a sickness called ; "DUBAI - ITIS", and I call this whole syndrome a part of "DUBAIOLOGY". Now many of you are probably wondering as too what I exactly mean by this whole "DUBAIOLOGY and DUBAIITIS" !!! - Dubai is a city full of sky high dreams, speed and glamour. People who come here to this magnificent city *(Dubai)* seem to have only one agenda, and that is to wear designer labels, talk big, dream of owning a property in the posh neighbourhoods of ; Emirates Hills, Meadows, Greens, Dubai Marina, Downtown Burj Dubai and the very famous Jumeirah and off course make some money. A few people make the money that is probably just about enough, a few move on too migrating to Austrailia, Canada, New Zealand or Singapore *(USA and UK have stopping issuing any immigrant visas and green card options.)*.  Now this my friends is called "Dubaiology", but "Dubaiitis" is just a simple fragment of the mind that is confused and miffed by the grandeur and glamour. I guess this Dubaitis is something that has literally confused me a lot. What many people are not aware of is that Dubai does blind the common person with expensive tastes and sometimes even with immense peer pressure. A very recent realization that has struck me is that most people here keep changing their jobs / either they resign for a better alternative or they are asked to quit !!! - hahahahaha - "DUBAI ITIS" - is the "SYNDROME".

So friends on this note - "hope MARCH" turns out too be a good month full of action packed movie going and some good "BOLLYWOOD".
