Dil Toh Baacha Hai Ji ---- and I vouch for that ;)

Hey Guys –

Okay – now I know I haven’t been writing too much about my favourite topic of “bollywood films” but honestly I haven’t seen too many films come out which have interested me. Thus on the movie front I have given a few movies a miss. I know that “Dhobi Ghat” and “No One Killed Jessica” were good films at least the latter was a big success, but both these movies were also serious and at this point in time one needs some entertainment and thus I ended up watching “Dil Toh Baacha Hai Ji”. Now I have to admit that “Dil Toh...” was brilliant. Now Madhur Bhandakar is one of my favourite directors along with Tarun Mansukhani, Karan Johar, Yash Chopra , Aditya Chopra and Milun Luthria. The way Madhur aptly taps the pulse of the public and also gauges the anticipation which audiences have worldwide is just phenomenal.

Dil To Baacha Hai Ji is a story about modern day India that has gone a little wayward and crazy. I mean I have always seen Indians to be a little over the top the moment they taste success or even seem to see success. Not to mention the traditionally eccentricities of us desi are just hilarious. However modern day India is just too professional in all platforms. Whether it’s couple relationship, a business relationship or even just a casual friendship...there is always this hidden desire by people to extract a certain something. Madhur Bhandakar has done a brilliant job of illustrating this in this film and that too with a comic form of screenplay and plot. I mean the 3 stories of men in India and the parallel stories of women are just too real too ignore and more than aptly set out throughout the movie. The music of the film is a stellar and fresh and the vocals of the different singers are too good to be true and the uses of set designs are super.
I have to admit that this movie was one hellava joy ride to watch. Now to be more specific in detail –

Ajay Devgn being the veteran actor has moulded himself brilliantly and Emraan Hashmi is performing from strength to strength with every film. Mr Chatur Ramalingum (Omi Vaidya) has done a decent job and definitely with a great amount of panache. The actresses although fairly new especially Shraddha Das and Shruti Hasan have done a great job and Tisca Chopra was dynamic and too hot to be true – hahahahah – Not many really recognized veteran actor ; Shammi Kapoors son ; Aditya Raj Kapoor who was quite good too.

Guys watch this movie its awesome and a great entertainer and definitely a superhit success for the moviemakers.

Cheers –
Soouviek.
