GOLMAAL 3 - An All Out Entertainer Doston :)
Hey People –
Eid Mubarak and thanks for the festive season because it is only in seasons like these that one can expect some entertainment at the cinemas from our very own Bollywood and the filmwallas – hahahah. I wish, I so wish, I was the typical filmi family born child because trust me and believe me I would have given a lot of the actors a big run for their money – hahahah. Anyways jokes a apart and back to GolMaal 3. It’s been ages since I saw the previous 2 instalments but “All The Best” – had the same amount of wackiness and a certain crazy attitude. For me GolMaal 1 was good but part 2 was boring but then again “All the Best” was amazing to complete the trilogy, just that at that time I didn’t think Mr. Rohit Shetty would make another part. The movie is a complete and true breed entertainer. I don’t think the starcast or the director ever promised to give a serious film and they have always promised to give a kickass entertainer where the audience come with a grimy look and walk out with a laughter hurt in their belly. GolMaal 3 does just that, the movie is simple to understand and quite speedy in terms of momentum. Every attention to detail required for a masaladar film has been given the attention. The backdrop of GOA – the costume – the background score – the comic timing of the ensemble star cast and the music is just brilliant. I never had any moment without a laugh and thus could not breadth. The humour is not stupid but actually something that people can do in real life. The film is whacky and hilarious right from the first frame and first shot. It’s brilliant because sometimes you ask how is it that stupid things make people laugh and smile but this movie works because the screen writer has amalgamated the typical stereotypes of a desi masala flick and combined that with some contemporary situational drama.
I am not wasting time comparing this baby to real life so that we can all reflect back – just go pick up a ticket and popcorn and get entertained.
Cheers -
Soouviek.
