The Fearless Mr. Salman Khan was always a Dabangg Guy !!!
Hello People -
What's up and how are you all doing today. I am back with "da bang"....hahahah -
Dabangg – or a big bang – this movie is hilarious and super. Now the genre of hindi masala movies have been in the making ever since I realized and found out that the other word for films, movies is ; cinema. I have to admit that the “kedaa” I have for movies is something that Lafangey Parindey needed to make the audiences come to the theatres. Anyways Mr. Pradeep Sarkar never touched base with me to be cast in his movie and neither did Aditya Chopra ever reckon me in his movies – hahahaha – now people!!! Do you realize the bollywood centric bias I have and the astute eccentric I am about the films. I wish I was an eclectic for cinema but unfortunately I aint in showbiz although I still wish that one day my dreams come true. Now coming back to “The Fearless” - Dabangg and definitely this is a treat to watch because it has all the elements of the golden 70’s packed with some real time maaza of life and people who dwell in Uttar Pradesh. I enjoyed the film because the action sequences, the comic thrill with some moments of reality involved make this movie a whacky all time entertainer. The main reason people are hearing good reviews about the film is primarily because the movie does not beat around the bush, it has clichés over used in hindi cinema but the narrative is very different. The film offers a new look to things and definitely an original character to compete with MUNNA BHAI and CIRCUIT – our very own Chulbul Pandey. The movie has some great shots especially from the cinematography perspective, the script is boring with a certain amount of prediction of the plot but the narrative is new with a different format of storytelling. The songs are good; the actors have performed exceptionally well but for the most Mr. Salman Khan has definitely rocked the nation and the world over. Acting is not about forcing your audience but more over making them relate to you and the director has done a brilliant job nothing less to say. The use of UP language and inter mingling this with the real-time nasty corrupt politics and lewd dialogues make this movie a winner in the entertainment category. Salman Khan always had a very distinctive dialogue delivery and thus Chulbul Pandey is going down in the hall of fame.
It is a money spinner and a DVD collector’s edition to watch when one is bored and down with the burdens of life.
Cheers –
Soouviek.
