"GO GOA GONE" - Modern India Partying !

"GO GOA GONE" - Is an "illuminati production" that has youthful modern India screaming "party time" right from the word "GO". Right from the title of the flick ; "GO GOA GONE", the movie is all about the urban youth ; the fast natured mentality and the die hard party fanatic India, that is just looking for an excuse to drink up and party. I guess cinematic expressions at times reeks over the top enthusiasm and sometimes a little bit to much for reality to handle, so that audiences can loose their minds for the duration of the movie :) 

On the whole, "GO GOA GONE" is definitely different from the average lot of flicks being produced and directed by youngistan film makers The idea of making a "zombie" film for India is a new concept and perhaps typical of a Saif Ali Khan production which always manages to mirror the western / gora lifestyle - hahahaha. Having said this, the movie is racy and keeps the comic quotient intact to the extent that audiences rarely get a chance of getting bored. Kunal Khemu, Vir Das, SAIFU and Puja all have done well in their respective parts to entertain audiences. The movie is totally performance based as it lacks script, story and plot, the soundtrack of the film too isn't something that really impressed me. What I loved about the film is the modern day dialogue baazi which is brilliant. The movie is not your typical INR 100 crore blockbuster, but definitely a entertaining flick to watch when you don't have anything better to do.

 

I am sure the next SAIFU production is going to be much better than this.
