"Nautanki Saala" - A fresh flick :)
Hey People,
Hola, greetings and hello ! So much for the brief blog vacation, I thought I sharpen my perspectives a bit. I am sure you guys have already watched this flick, well if you haven't then please go out there and catch a DVD or "YOUTUBE" :) - these days you get everything on "YOUTUBE" - hahahaa.
"Nautanki Saala" - is a fresh flick with youngistan India at it's best. A modern day film with the back drop of theatre and stage is something that always intrigues me to the core. I can't say that the story is fresh as it is a tad bit of a cliche, but the movie has a fresh approach with a brilliant narrative. Ayuushmaan Khurrana *(hope I got the spelling right)* is a stellar performer and definitely a hidden talent that was just waiting to be discovered. He is the centre point of the film and he carries the movie on his shoulder completely, his poise and his approach to the character is brilliant. Kunal Roy Kapur is a laugh riot and super, his character will have you in splits right from the word "go" or rather the moment he comes on to the frame. The actresses are effective but don't really draw that much attention from the audience, I am sure they too knew well that for this movie "Ayushmaan" and "Kunal" were the really hero and heroine. All in all the movie has all the ingredients that are required for a super successful film. The producers are going to make some good money from this venture. Ayushmaan is also going to garner more accolades and recognition from this role.
Watch this guys, its brilliant :)
