"Himmatwalla" - A DISASTER !!!

Hola People,

Apologies for the delay, as you guys know, DUBAI keeps its habitants busy as a bee ! Without much ado; "Himmatwalla" - probably the most hyped up flick of the year after "RACE 2" and "Special 26", it is one of those movies that compels you to walk out of the cinema as soon as you are done with the first 10 minutes. By far, one of the the worst filum's ;) I have ever seen till date and also one of Sajid Khan's worst creations. When you have Sajid Khan at the helm of things you are expecting a whackky film with practically all the masala available in modern day times, some of these masala films are somewhat bearable to watch but this one just looses the plot completely. It's not at all a well made parody or even a comedy ! Himmatwalla of 2013 - probably the biggest mistake that was bound to happen due to Sajid Khans ego. The 80's classic had a story to it and was a film that was ahead of its time, thus the movie worked. The new Himmatwalla just has some good sets errected to try and resurrect the feel of 80's, a decent enough music album and a gorgeous actress. Ajay Devgn is a brilliant actor but of late his age is showing and doing films like this wont really help him / Paresh Rawal and Mahesh Manjrekar are both good in their roles but then again there is a saturation point in their acting styles and thus they cannot seem to give their characters a different image. Taamaanah the newbie in bollywood is super cute and gorgeous and is decent in her performance. Probably the only saving grace is Mika Singh and Amit Kumar and the whole music crew :) - hehehehe.

 

Save yourself guys, and never ever watch this flick, Colossal Disaster.
