AGNEEPATH - A WELL MADE TRIBUTE !!!

Hey People,

Agneepath - My first exciting watch for the year has been “Agneepath” and was I surprised and pleasantly predisposed with the way the whole movie has been made. The soundtrack of the film has been carefully crafted to suit the screenplay and plot of the film. The movie has the continuity of the old “Agneepath” and this makes the new version a brilliant tribute to Mr. Bachchan and Dharma of the yesteryears. The character delineation of Hrithik as “Dinnath Chauhan” is too good, the highlight however is the new age “Kancha Cheena” who like always has horrible intensions and no one could have played this role better than Sanjay Dutt. At least I don’t think anybody could have portrayed this better than h “BABA” himself. Priyanka was too good to be true, she knew well that she had a small part and a tragic ending and thus her character delineation required her to be expressive through her facial expressions and not just through her dialogue throw and delivery. I personally think that Piggy Chops has matured and evolved as this “DIVA” who is just scaling too great heights. Rishi Kapoor as the cut throat and ruthless villain has been a revelation and he too has been just fantastic.  As you guys can make out that this ensemble star cast performance is a rare treat to watch. And to sum it off “CHIKNI CHAMELI” is a firecracker that blazes through the screens right into your heart. I really cannot pick up and pinpoint at alternate view towards this movie. I am sure many of my detractors might think that I always praise movies and probably don’t have that much of credibility, but my answer to most of those jealous idiots is that – “GUYS” appreciate the art of film making and cinema. And thus on that note I can only say that “Agneepath” is a serious drama with violent feelings for vengeance. The movie is a delightful watch that keeps the audiences glued to their seats for a good story telling session. It pricks the emotions and numbs the eyes. So “WATCH THIS FOR THE EMOTIONAL” under current.
