"GAME" - Thrilling but then again does fizzle out.

Hola People,

I know I am late and delayed with my review *(thus a few wouldn’t really want to read what I have to say)* some of you may have already seen these movies and some of you may not have not seen these films, and thus I hope that my views do help for those who still have some movie catching too do.

I haven't seen an Abhishek Bachchan film for a while, as his last film which released in December; “KHJJS” was not something which particularly interested me. Now “GAME” is one film which is a typical Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani film which exudes all the trappings that “Excel Entertainment” has been associated with. GAME – was a movie that I wanted to watch because the trailer had a certain amount of spunk to it and that interested me the most. I have to admit that the movie has a brilliant star cast from Anupam Kher, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Jimmy Shergill, Kangana Ranuat, Shahana Goswami, Gauhar Khan and the newbie on the block Ms Sarah Jane Dias.

On the glamour front this movie has it all from the sexiness of Gauhar Khan, A classy former beauty queen , sultry Kangana and  thinking actress such as that of Shahana Goswami. So there you go, you have a movie with all the types of women – haahahahah. The movie has an intriguing screenplay, a damn good soundtrack, and awesome cinematography coupled with fantastic locations of Greece, Turkey and Mumbai. Now what the movie does lack or what many audiences might not like is the clichĂ© nature of the story and plot; lovers departed due to a harsh death and the lover who is alive is seeking vengeance and retribution for his beloved. Movies, like this have been tried and tested in the industry for years now. However as always the distictiveness is apparant in this film. The movie has some brilliant ensemble star cast performances which is why the audiences will be thrilled and glued to their seats when they watch this film at the cinemas.

Personally I loved this movie because the overall packaging is of a hardcore entertainer which has the necessary detailing needed to relax and unwind. The movie is not too boastful, yet subtle in elaborating the characters and relationships that they share with each other.

Watch this movie for the distinctiveness guys although in real life I am sure very few of us will encounter such a sequence of events.

Cheers,
Soouviek
